"Over and Above"
Working for a while with this client to get the right text and sizing we finally finished cutting the vinyl boat signs. One for each side of the rear of the pontoon boat. The best thing about making signs is meeting facinating people and places. Here we had the joy of an Okanagan Sunny day, on the beach. It's hard to find a better setting to perform creative sign making.
Once the boat was done, I seemed puzzled as the owner ordered another set of names. For an explanation, he pointed out past the dock. "That's why I was watching you install the pontoon signs, I gotta know how to do it so I can put the last two on the buoy out there". He told me he has a canoe, which I instructed him to get as I would apply the second set of names for him. He claimed I was going over and above as I was taking off my shoes and rolling up my pants. What he didn't realize, I was just having another fun sign install... Richard & Karan, you have a beautiful location, I had a blast! Thanks for the opportunity!
